About me
LIke many ESL teachers I went into the job with no relevent work experience and little understanding of what I was getting myself into. I had completed a teaching course before arriving, but I soon discovered teaching theories were not going to help me survive my classes
One of the best ways to learn is to listen. I talked to other teachers around me and I adopted and modified their ideas to suit my own classes and teaching style. I had to learn from making countless mistakes before reaching a level I was happy with and progressing in my career.
I hope that through sharing my experiences I can give support to new ESL teachers and help others like me to grow and become the teachers they aspire to be
